Washington, D.C. – [2/23/2025] – United Voices condemns Israel’s forced displacement of 40,000 Palestinians from refugee camps in the occupied West Bank, a blatant act of ethnic cleansing that violates international law.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz admitted that residents of the Jenin, Tul Karm, and Nur al-Shams refugee camps have been permanently expelled and will not be allowed to return. This admission follows weeks of Israeli denials, despite extensive documentation by international media and human rights organizations.
Forcibly removing Palestinians from their homes is not security policy—it is a crime against humanity. With American weapons and political backing, Israel continues to entrench apartheid and erase Palestinian presence from their own land.
The world cannot look away as Israel carries out mass displacement in broad daylight. Silence in the face of these war crimes is complicity.
