United Voices for America condemned Israel’s renewed mass bombing campaign in Gaza, calling it a direct violation of the existing ceasefire and a dangerous escalation that is costing civilian lives.
According to international reporting, Israeli airstrikes killed at least 21 people in southern Gaza. Coverage of the attacks can be found here: The Journal report. Separately, a journalist was reportedly killed in the bombardment, adding to the hundreds of media workers who have died during the conflict. Live updates documenting the escalation are available here: Al Jazeera coverage.
United Voices said the attacks — coupled with the continued blockade of humanitarian aid — undermine any claim that the ceasefire remains intact.
“Bombing densely populated civilian areas while restricting food, fuel, and medical supplies is not a defensive posture. It is collective punishment,” the organization said. “The United States cannot continue providing diplomatic cover and military support while claiming to support peace.”
Reports from journalists on the ground have also questioned the justification offered for the renewed strikes. One account circulating publicly suggests that an explosion in Rafah may have involved Israeli demolition crews injuring themselves on unexploded ordnance, rather than an external attack. That reporting can be viewed here: X post documenting the claim.
United Voices urged federal officials to demand immediate de-escalation, restore full humanitarian access, and reassess continued U.S. military assistance in light of mounting civilian casualties.
