United Voices is calling on Virginia public schools to reject outgoing Attorney General Jason Miyares’ push to adopt the controversial IHRA definition of antisemitism — warning that using it to punish students who criticize the Israeli government would violate the First Amendment and trigger legal action.
Across Texas, Florida, and other states, anti-Muslim networks have been monitoring Muslim Student Association social media to track campus events — then showing up uninvited to harass students while they pray, film them without consent, and in one case burn a Quran. United Voices has written to more than 2,000 university leaders demanding immediate action to protect Muslim students.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that Florida Republicans are calling for stripping voucher funding from Islamic schools while defending billions in public money for Christian ones. AG Uthmeier calls it a national security threat. There are roughly 24 Islamic schools in a program serving 2,278 campuses.
