United Voices, a leading advocate for justice, peace, democracy, and civil rights, firmly opposes proposals to allocate an additional $14 billion in American taxpayer funds to the Israeli government. These funds, if approved, risk fueling further war crimes against Palestinian civilians in Gaza and perpetuating the ongoing illegal occupation of Palestinian territory.

Amidst another Israeli assault on the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza today, resulting in undisclosed casualties, the consideration of allocating additional funds raises serious concerns about supporting actions that may violate international laws of war.

In a statement, United Voices emphasized:

“Allocating $14 billion to Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, while they continue actions that violate international law, contradicts the principles of justice and human rights. Our nation should focus on utilizing taxpayer dollars to support struggling Americans, fostering economic stability during these challenging times.”
